MopExtend RoboSwing technology extends the mop pads up to 4 cm outward during cleaning, swinging the back end of the robot toward baseboards, table legs, and corners that round-bodied robots normally leave with a dry strip along the wall. Edge detection runs through the navigation system, so the mop pad extends when the D30 Ultra CE approaches a wall and retracts as it moves back into open floor. Wall-adjacent grime that usually builds up between mop runs comes off in a single pass with the rest of your floor.
The 25,000 Pa Vormax vacuum picks up fine dust in the grout lines. It can also remove sand from hardwood floors and pet hair from low-pile carpets with just one pass. The five suction modes, Quiet through to Max+, allow you to balance power versus noise. The 3DAdapt obstacle detection system is a form of dynamic laser navigation that detects your pet bowls, cables, shoes and other objects so the robot can avoid bumping into them.
