— San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks) June 23, 2026Eklund, a 23-year-old forward, spent parts of the last five seasons with the Sharks, scoring 15 goals and 53 points in 78 games last season and 50 goals and 163 points in 252 career games.Haltunnen was drafted by the Sharks in the second round in 2023. The Finnish forward won the Memorial Cup with the London Knights last season. He also scored 16 goals and 35 points in 69 regular-season games with the Sharks’ AHL affiliate, the Barracuda, this past regular season.
Svoboda was a Sharks third-round draft pick (No. 71) in 2023. The Pittsburgh native scored six goals and 15 points in 35 games with Boston University this season.This is the second trade in as many days for the Senators, who traded captain Brady Tkachuk to the Florida Panthers on Sunday in exchange for three first-round picks and a second-round draft pick.
