Bafana Bafana's Siphiwe Tshabalala celebrates after scoring South Africa's iconic opening goal at the 2010 World Cup held in the country.
Bafana Bafana record-breaker Siphiwe Tshabalala has furthered his professional development by completing the Fifa Players’ Executive Programme in North America, the site of the ongoing World Cup.
Tshabalala became a global icon in 2010 after scoring the tournament's opening goal on home soil. Since then, he has served in various ambassadorial roles across multiple platforms and organisations, including Fifa.
As part of FIFA's initiatives, he enrolled 14 months ago in the Fifa Players’ Executive Programme, which is designed to equip former players with the expertise needed for post-retirement careers.
On Tuesday night, Tshabalala took to social media to celebrate his graduation, expressing his pride in achieving this significant milestone.
