MANILA, Philippines — Two men were arrested for allegedly transferring fuel worth P2.62 million without a Department of Energy permit in Marinduque, the Philippine National Police (PNP) said on Tuesday.
The arrested suspects, identified only as Tiaong, Quezon residents aged 28 and 30, were caught last Wednesday in Barangay Amoingon in Boac town, allegedly delivering petroleum products with a tanker truck.
Operatives seized the tanker carrying 8,000 liters of diesel, the PNP noted.
