MANILA, Philippines — Two individuals were arrested for selling P2.27 million worth of electric appliances that allegedly lacked the mandated import commodity clearance marks, the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) said on Thursday.

In a statement, the CIDG noted that the individuals were arrested and the alleged illegal products were confiscated through a search warrant operation at a warehouse in Barangay Manggahan, Pasig City last June 3.
