Since the start of the day, the Russian army has attacked the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces 96 times; the fiercest fighting took place in the Pokrovsk, Huliaipole, Kostiantynivka, and Sloviansk sectors.

According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook, releasing operational information as of 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23.

Russian forces continue to shell the border areas with artillery. The following settlements came under enemy fire: Korenok, Neskuchne, Sopych, Potapivka, Hirky, Rohizne, Prohres, Volfyne, Kozache, Marchyshyna Buda, Ulanove, and Yastrubshchyna in the Sumy region, as well as Kamianska Sloboda, Kliusy, and Bohdanove in the Chernihiv region.

Six clashes with Russian forces occurred in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors. The Russian Armed Forces carried out 32 shelling attacks on populated areas and Ukrainian military positions, including three using multiple launch rocket systems.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, Russian invaders attempted eight times to break through defenses in the areas of Lyman, Izbytske, Starytsia, Vovchanski Khutory, Okhrimivka, and toward Kozacha Lopan; four battles are still ongoing.
