The upcoming Digital Fairness Act – a set of rules intended to revamp the EU’s online consumer protection framework – will not ban dynamic pricing, Justice and Consumer chief Michael McGrath said at Euractiv‘s Tech Policy Conference on Tuesday.

Dynamic pricing – a practice where prices of a product are continuously adjusted based on demand – “is an important part of the economy in sectors like hotels and aviation,” McGrath said.
