Kwaito legend, L'vovo Derrango has broken his silence in distancing himself from an X (formerly) account that is being run by an imposter. The kwaito star said he was focused on his recovery journey following health-related setbacks.
Kwaito artist L'vovo Derrango has distanced himself from an X account operating under his name, warning fans and the public that he is not active on the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.
The Ladysmith-born musician, whose real name is Thokozani Ndlovu, issued the clarification in a video message after an account bearing his name repeatedly posted polarising views on illegal immigration and political matters.
In the video, L'vovo said he remains focused on his recovery and has not used the platform for several years.
"Sanibonani bantu baseMzansi (Hello South Africans), there is a short message that I want to convey. I am not on Twitter. I am still fighting my recovery. So whoever is trying popularity with my account on X, I am not.
