Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy temple trust board chairman Pothugunta Ramesh Naidu directed the staff to maintain cleanliness and hygienic conditions at the temple’s Kalyanakatta (tonsuring centre). Mr. Ramesh Naidu conducted a surprise inspection of the Kalyanakatta and its counter on Tuesday. He emphasised the need for continuous sanitation measures at the facility.Speaking on the occasion, he stressed that high priority should be given to cleanliness and hygiene and instructed the staff to keep the Kalyanakatta clean at all times. He also directed all staff members to strictly adhere to punctuality. Mr. Ramesh Naidu also instructed the staff to take appropriate measures to ensure that devotees arriving for tonsuring do not have to wait for long periods. He also he advised the barbers and counter staff to interact courteously with the devotees.Directing the staff to ensure that lights and fans at the Kalyanakatta were in working condition, he asked officials concerned to monitor these matters regularly. Later, he interacted with devotees at the Kalyanakatta to gather their feedback on the facilities provided by the temple management. The devotees expressed satisfaction with the amenities offered.
