According to information obtained by IranWire, 24-year-old Amir-Mohammad Hamouleh, a resident of the Sadaf neighborhood in Shahriyar, was severely wounded on Thursday, January 8, after being shot in the head.
Informed sources told IranWire that following the shooting, he was transferred to Noor Hospital in Shahriyar and remained under medical treatment in a coma for approximately 50 days. However, he ultimately succumbed to his injuries on February 27.
Amir-Mohammad Hamouleh was a conscripted soldier at the time of the incident and was on leave. His relatives remember him as a passionate young man, full of hope for life and deeply interested in art and music.
He was a Kamancheh player and held a special admiration for the works of the late Mohammad-Reza Shajarian. His close friends and family state that music was an inseparable part of his life, and he spent a significant portion of his time playing and listening to music.
The body of Amir-Mohammad Hamouleh was laid to rest on February 28 in Bagh-e Rezvan Cemetery in Shahriyar. His grave is located next to that of his friend, the late Moein Bassiri, another victim of the December/January protests.
