Russian troops launched a second strike against rescue workers in Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region, while they were extinguishing a fire that broke out as a result of an attack on the city.

According to Ukrinform, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported this on Telegram.

“In Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region, the Russians once again demonstrated their callousness—they launched a second strike against rescue workers who were dealing with the aftermath of the previous shelling,” the statement reads.

After an attack on a residential area of the city, rescue workers were extinguishing a fire in a private home. It was at that very moment that they came under enemy fire again.
