Crime Intelligence (CI) head Lt-General Dumisani Khumalo and CI’s Component Head of Intelligence Analysis and Co-ordination, Major General Nosipho Madondo have demanded answers on the failed attempt to arrest them.
Crime Intelligence Head, Lieutenant General Dumisani Khumalo, and Major-General Nozipho Madondo have reportedly filed formal complaints with the Ministers of Justice and Police following confusion surrounding an attempted arrest that was never carried out.
The complaints were also taken to the National Director of Public Prosecutions (NDPP).
The complaints stem from actions by the Investigating Directorate Against Corruption (IDAC), which confirmed that an arrest warrant had been issued for Khumalo.
Khumalo and Madondo have also written to IDAC head Andrea Johnson seeking explanations about the handling of the matter.
