Abeokuta, Ogun State – OtaFEST Nigeria has recorded another major milestone in its preparations for the 2026 edition as the Ogun State Police Command pledged its support and participation towards ensuring a safe, secure, and successful festival scheduled for October 24, 2026.

The development comes shortly after OtaFEST Nigeria formalized its partnership and collaboration efforts with the Ogun State Government through the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, further reinforcing the festival’s position as one of the state’s emerging platforms for tourism promotion, youth engagement, cultural preservation, sports development, and economic empowerment.

As part of its stakeholder engagement strategy, the OtaFEST Nigeria delegation paid a courtesy visit to the Commissioner of Police, Ogun State Command, at the State Headquarters, Eleweran, Abeokuta.

The delegation was received by the Commissioner of Police CP Bode Ojajuni alongside two Deputy Commissioners of Police, Assistant Commissioners of Police, and other senior officers of the Nigeria Police Force.
