The interaction, which some felt was mocking, sparked huge backlash from followers, with people pointing out different reasons children may still be in nappies, including Special Education Needs. Louise subsequently took to social media platforms to apologise and explain her intention wasn’t to offend anyone, assuring she has “tremendous admiration” for mothers struggling. She told followers: “The first thing I want to say is that I am just so sorry that I have upset anybody and I mean that from the bottom of my heart." Now author and potty-training specialist Amanda Jenner has shared her true feelings about the unfortunate episode. “I was very upset that she actually did that”, she told the Mirror. “I appreciate that she apologised, but I'd have expected better of her. I mean, personally what disappointed me was the laughing. I just thought that the big cackle was like she was taking the p*** out of the children.
