A 40-year-old man was electrocuted on Anna Salai on Saturday night. The police said R. Ramesh, a resident of Lathuram Street in Anna Salai, was a labourer.On Saturday, he went home heavily drunk and slept outside his house.Later, he went to a vacant spot opposite his house and was electrocuted when he touched a pillar box.
