A person engaged in installation of a party flag near Peralam was electrocuted on Wednesday.According to sources, the deceased, Sembian of Koothanallur was installing party flags tied on iron pipes on road side near Peralam. He was electrocuted after the iron pipe accidentally came into contact with a live overhead power cable.The Peralam police have registered a case and are investigating.
