The number of tourists visiting temporarily occupied Crimea may decrease this year, according to the Ukrainian Navy.
Navy spokesperson Dmytro Pletenchuk made the statement during a television broadcast while commenting on reports about closures of the Crimean Bridge and the reasons behind them, Ukrinform's correspondent reports.
Pletenchuk explained that for Russians in Crimea, bridge closures have become routine, as any air raid alert results in traffic being halted.
He noted that this is followed by traffic jams that can last for dozens of hours, as well as strict checkpoint procedures, which even Russian tourists complain are almost as demanding as crossing an international border.
