File: Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu
The Governor of Lagos State and Chairman of the South-West Governors Forum, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has congratulated Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, on his victory in Saturday’s governorship election.
In a congratulatory message issued on Sunday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr Gboyega Akosile, Sanwo-Olu also commended the electorate for the peaceful conduct of the election and for giving the ruling All Progressives Congress another mandate to govern the state.
He described Oyebanji’s landslide victory as a reflection of the governor’s popularity and the confidence reposed in him by the people of Ekiti State.
Sanwo-Olu said the outcome of the poll was a reward for good governance and the delivery of democratic dividends during Oyebanji’s first term in office.
