The exhibition is expected to become one of the most substantial presentations of Ukrainian visual art in the festival’s history, offering British audiences a rare opportunity to engage with the work of one of Ukraine’s most influential contemporary artists. Dubovyk, a leading figure in Ukrainian art, has spent decades developing a distinctive symbolic language that explores memory, identity, spirituality, and humanity’s search for meaning. His works have become an important part of Ukraine’s cultural canon and continue to influence generations of artists. The exhibition forms part of the Summer 2026 season of Kyiv Art Sessions, an international multidisciplinary cultural initiative dedicated to presenting contemporary Ukrainian culture to global audiences.
