Hristijan Mickoski has been the prime minister of North Macedonia since 2024. In an interview with journalist Bruce Campion-Smith at his office in Skopje in May, he spoke about the challenges facing the Balkan nation, Bulgaria’s opposition to North Macedonia’s membership in the European Union, as well as the economic potential of key trade corridors, known as corridor 8 and corridor 10, that run though the country.
