The All Workers Convergence (AWC), a labour advocacy group, has issued an open letter to President Bola Tinubu, accusing his administration of undermining democracy, failing to address insecurity and pursuing policies it described as anti-people.

In the letter dated Sunday, June 21, 2026, and signed by the National Coordinator of the group, Comrade Andrew Emelieze, the workers' body warned the President that his tenure in office was temporary and urged him to change course before leaving office.

Titled, "President Tinubu, Your Days Are Numbered in Aso Rock. Stop Behaving Like an Emperor; You Are Not a Landlord There, and You Cannot Remain in the Villa Forever," the letter painted a bleak picture of the administration's performance and accused the President of governing in a manner that threatens Nigeria's democratic system.

"I am writing to give you a brief overview of your impact as President during this period," Emelieze said.

"Sir, with due respect, pardon me for expressing myself exactly as I see things. I am convinced, Sir, that I am also speaking the minds of most Nigerians."
