Proteas Women's allrounder Chloe Tryon says they have had some honest chats after a rather difficult start to their T20 World Cup campaign.

Allrounder Chloe Tryon has called on the Proteas Women to embrace an aggressive yet simplified approach ahead of what has effectively become a Women's T20 World Cup quarter-final against India on Sunday.

Following a sobering defeat to Australia and a narrow victory over Pakistan, South Africa find themselves in a high-stakes scenario where their knockout destiny remains squarely in their own hands.

Speaking ahead of the crucial Group clash, Tryon emphasised that the squad have addressed their initial tournament shortcomings through extensive and transparent chats in the change room.

"We have had really good chats around how we want to approach the match," Tryon said. "Obviously, we didn't start the way we wanted to, and we haven't played our best cricket yet. But we want to play to our full capabilities.
