Three drivers were injured in a traffic accident near Poltava involving two trucks and three passenger cars.

This was reported by the communications department of the Poltava Regional Police, according to Ukrinform.

“The traffic accident occurred on the morning of June 20 on Highway M-03 in the village of Kopyly, Poltava district. Police are investigating the circumstances of the incident. According to preliminary information, five vehicles were involved in the collision: MAN and IVECO trucks, as well as Volkswagen, Daewoo, and Land Rover passenger cars,” the statement reads.

According to law enforcement officials, as a result of the collision, medical personnel hospitalized the driver of the Volkswagen, born in 1985, and the driver of the Daewoo, born in 1969, with injuries.

Another truck driver was examined by medical personnel at the scene but did not require hospitalization.
