Five people were killed and two others were injured in a traffic accident in the Boryspil District of Kyiv region.
This was reported by the Main Directorate of the National Police in Kyiv region, according to Ukrinform.
The traffic accident, involving two passenger cars, occurred on the Boryspil–Dnipro highway near the village of Rohoziv.
According to preliminary data, the 70-year-old driver of a Renault Sandero, while attempting to pass another vehicle, veered into the oncoming lane, where he collided with a Nissan Altima.
As a result of the accident, the driver of the Renault Sandero and his two female passengers, aged 95 and 75, as well as a 40-year-old male passenger in the Nissan Altima, died at the scene.
