More than ten people across Bulgaria claim they have been affected by an alleged scheme linked to Sofia-based “Dream Auto Group,” after paying deposits and full amounts for cars imported from Germany that were never delivered, according to reports by Nova TV. The total reported value of the disputed transactions is estimated at around 200,000 euros.

The affected clients, who say they do not know each other, describe similar experiences involving deals concluded mainly between March and May this year, with some payments made as early as January. Individual transfers range from around 1,000 euros in advance payments to more than 20,000 euros for specific vehicle orders.

One customer said the company initially appeared fully legitimate and professionally structured. “I went on a recommendation. The office looked completely normal, there was a website and everything you would expect from a serious company,” he said, adding that he had no initial concerns about the transaction.

According to several clients, they were later informed that the vehicles had been purchased and were being transported to Bulgaria, with delivery deadlines ranging from two weeks to around one month. However, the cars never arrived, and communication with the company reportedly deteriorated over time.
