While the tank will have a storage capacity of 10 lakh litres, the sump could store about 2.5 lakh litres.He visited the Red Hills reservoir and reviewed the operation of Puzhal water treatment plant, which caters to nearly 30 lakh residents, including those in Kolathur and Vyasarpadi.Mr. Anand later visited the Kilpauk Water Works, which has the capacity to treat 270 million litres of water a day, a press release said.
