Thoothukudi South Police on Thursday arrested four individuals for their involvement in the sale of lottery tickets.Acting on a tip-off that the individuals were allegedly involved in lottery ticket sales in the Levingipuram area, police conducted an inspection and arrested four men. They were identified as Gopikannan, 34, and Narayanasamy, 40, from Anna Nagar, Naveen Raja, 26, from Muthaiahpuram and Balasubramanian, 53, from Yoheeswarar Colony.Police also recovered bits of papers with numbers and seized an amount of ₹10,190.Thoothukudi South police have registered a case and further investigations are under way.
