The Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Wing sleuths have registered a case against a woman Motor Vehicle Inspector and eight middlemen in connection with the seizure of unaccounted cash of ₹92,000 from the Regional Transport Office here on Thursday.When the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption wing police raided the Regional Transport Office on Thursday as part of the State-wide search, they seized unaccounted cash of ₹92,000 from the office.The police also found that Motor Vehicle Inspector Padma Priya, who should have received the fee payable by the applicants and accounted for the amount could not produce any amount physically.Hence, the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Wing police have registered case against Padma Priya and eight middlemen who were inside the Regional Transport Office during the raid.
