PAOK FC has parted ways with Romanian head coach Razvan Lucescu by mutual agreement, the Thessaloniki club announced on Friday.

Lucescu, 57, had two successful spells at PAOK, first between 2017 and 2019 and then from 2021 until his departure. He led the Super League side to two Greek league titles – of four overall in the club’s history – and two Greek Cup triumphs, cementing his place among the most successful coaches to have served at PAOK.

“Razvan Lucescu has linked his name with one of the most important periods in the club’s history. With dedication, passion and tireless work, he played a key role in achieving major goals and shaping a team that gave our fans unforgettable moments,” PAOK said in a statement.

PAOK finished third in the Greek Super League in the 2025-26 season, which proved to be Lucescu’s final campaign with the club.
