Upon reaching the house, located at House Number HY193 within Heliu Estate, their employer, identified simply as "Ejioba," presented them with laptop computers.

A case of human trafficking, hostage-taking, and brutal torture has been uncovered in Enugu State after three young men miraculously escaped from a luxury apartment within the high-brow Heliu Estate, along the Enugu/Port Harcourt Expressway.

The victims — identified as Joseph Ibangwu, Izuchukwu Junior, and Miracle Tochukwu —were lured from Ebonyi State under the pretext of securing legitimate employment, only to be locked up, starved, and subjected to severe physical abuse for months in what appears to be a cybercrime ("Yahoo Yahoo") training camp.

The horrific ordeal came to light on the evening of Thursday, June 11, when the victims managed to break free from their confinement. Terrified and bearing deep lacerations, scars, and open wounds across their bodies, the haggard-looking youths ran into the arms of shocked estate residents and security personnel.

In a heartbreaking video clip detailing their captivity, 21-year-old Izuchukwu Junior recounted how they were deceptively brought to Enugu and transformed into prisoners.
