New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will on Friday disburse incentives worth ₹2,400 crore under the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rojgar Yojana (PM-VBRY) to about 1.5 million first-time employees and employers through direct benefit transfer, labour minister Mansukh Mandaviya said on Thursday.The scheme provides an incentive of up to ₹15,000 for first-time employees and up to ₹3,000 a month for each new hire under the employer component.Employees who have completed six months of service will be eligible to receive the incentive.Also read: 0.4 million new employees availed fiscal benefit under PMVBRYThe funds will be released at a national event at Vigyan Bhawan, where the PM is also expected to interact with select young first-time employees and employers participating in the scheme.PM-KISAN DisbursementsThe PM will on June 20 transfer the 23rd instalment under PM-KISAN scheme from West Bengal, disbursing ₹18,880 crore directly to over 9.44 crore farmer beneficiaries.
