Nishant Krishna assumes office as Collector of Sivaganga district

Nishant Krishna is the new Collector of Sivaganga district.A 2018-batch Indian Administrative Officer, Mr. Krishna was hitherto Commissioner of Nagercoil Corporation.He is succeeding K. Porkodi, who has been transferred to Department of Social Welfare.Mr. Krishna said that his priority would be to redress the grievances of the public and meet their demands.Priority would be given to providing basic amenities like road and health care. Besides, all efforts would be taken to ensure that the benefits of Government welfare schemes reached the people.The new Collector said that he would work with all the stake-holders towards the overall development of the district.
