The Gurmitkal Police have cracked a theft case in 24 hours after the incident was reported and arrested the accused.According to information, the police have named the accused as Narasimha of Edepalli village in the case.The theft was reported on Wednesday as 30 grams of gold ornaments and ₹10,000 cash were stolen from a house in Edepalli village under Gurmitkal Police limits.Police Inspector Doulat N. Kuri, who led a special police team, cracked the case in 24 hours and recovered the stolen golden ornaments worth ₹4.50 lakh and ₹8,000 in cash and arrested the accused.Superintendent of Police Pruthvik Shankar appreciated the effort made by the police team to arrest the accused in a short time and recover the stolen property.Sub-Inspectors Alla Baksh Shabadi and Chandrappa, constables Narendra Reddy, Raheem, Ashok and other staff were in the team.
