The Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) will conduct a Revenue (Tax) Mela on June 23 to address property-related grievances and municipal service issues for residents in the West Zone, Zonal Commissioner B. Hemavathi stated in a release on Thursday.She said that the mela is designed to provide a platform for property owners and taxpayers to resolve long-pending matters, including issues related to property tax and water charges. Municipal revenue officials will be available at the venue to receive and address public grievances.The camp, scheduled to be held at 9 a.m. at the New Maridimamba Kalyana Mandapam in Malkapuram, will cater to residents of wards numbers 40, 58, 59, 60, 61, 62, and 63.Citizens residing in these wards have been urged to attend the camp with relevant documents to ensure their issues can be processed and resolved promptly. The municipal authorities have encouraged taxpayers to take advantage of this initiative to clear pending dues and settle administrative discrepancies regarding their properties.
