Following the successful citizens' initiative “Stop Destroying Videogames”, the EU Commission will not take any steps to change the legal situation. Instead, it will discuss possible improvements with consumers and publishers, the Commission announced on Tuesday in Brussels. For representatives of the citizens' initiative, this comes “as no surprise”; they still see opportunities for legal regulation by the EU Parliament.
