Beyond the ceasefire mechanics, the document includes a commitment from Iran to impose a moratorium on nuclear enrichment and address the handling of its nuclear stockpiles.
Another major provision: the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz for toll-free and unrestricted shipping. Roughly one-fifth of the world’s oil passes through that narrow waterway.
