Security forces in the Libyan capital, Tripoli, have arrested two Nigerian nationals in the coastal town of Qarabouli over allegations of spreading inciting content on social media.

According to an official statement obtained by The Libya Observer, the suspects were detained on suspicion of disseminating media materials described as having an “inciting nature,” allegedly promoting violence and criminal activity online.
