Barcelona is apparently not done shopping. Fresh off an €80 million move for Anthony Gordon, the club has turned its attention to Real Sociedad, where a winger with a €75 million release clause has become the latest name on the Catalan wishlist.
What we know about the target
The identity of the €75 million winger hasn’t been publicly nailed down with certainty. What is clear is that Real Sociedad has at least one attacker whose release clause sits at that figure, and that Premier League clubs are also circling the same player.
Separately, Real Sociedad captain Mikel Oyarzabal has also been linked with a move to the Camp Nou. The 29-year-old Spanish international carries a reported valuation of around €25 million. Oyarzabal and the €75 million target appear to be distinct pursuits, meaning Barcelona could theoretically be eyeing multiple players from the same club.
As of June 17, 2026, no official deal has been confirmed for either target.
