The leaked transaction breakdown has laid bare the extreme monetisation of internal democracy within political parties ahead of the 2027 general elections.
An alleged bribery and currency racketeering ring within the national leadership of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has been exposed, following the leak of financial transaction logs.
SaharaReporters gathered that a prominent party financier and former Chief of Staff to the ex-Governor of Anambra State, Chief Primus Odili, has confronted the APGA National Chairman, Mr. Sylvester Ezeokenwa over an alleged failed 2027 senatorial ticket deal.
In a message sent directly to the National Chairman, which has since gone viral on social media, Odili, widely known across the South-East as 'Okeosisi Aguleri', itemised the exact sums of foreign currencies and raw naira notes he allegedly paid to purchase the party's endorsement, demanding an immediate refund.
