Atiku's camp accused the Tinubu administration of attempting to cover up what it described as a "monumental scam" involving a government agency that Tinubu's government has claimed to be non-existent despite operating from the Presidency.

The Media Office of former Vice President and presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for the 2027 general elections, Atiku Abubakar, has called for an independent forensic investigation into the alleged N400million bribery by the Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, Femi Gbajabiamila.

Atiku's camp accused the Tinubu administration of attempting to cover up what it described as a "monumental scam" involving a government agency that Tinubu's government has claimed to be non-existent despite operating from the Presidency.

Gbajabiamila was recently accused of N400million bribery by Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi, who is now being prosecuted by the Nigerian government for allegations of conspiracy, forgery, impersonation and the use of forged presidential documents.

Adeyemi accused Gbajabiamila of bribery, alleging that the Chief of Staff demanded N400million and an additional N200million to facilitate his appointment as head of a government agency.
