Since the start of the day, the Russian army has carried out 55 attacks on the positions of Ukraine's defenders, with the hottest sectors being the Huliaipole, Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka directions.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated this on Facebook, publishing operational information as of 16:00 on Wednesday, June 17, Ukrinform reports.
"Artillery shelling of border areas continues. Today in Sumy region, the settlements of Korenok, Sopych, Neskuchne, Rohizne, Holyshivske, Potapivka, Buniachine, Iskriskivshchyna, Malushyne and Havrylova Sloboda were hit; in Chernihiv region - Senkivka and Khrynivka," the statement said.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk directions, the invaders carried out 26 shellings since the start of the day, including three using multiple launch rocket systems.
