KZN businessman faces eviction in legal battle with Hindu organisation over property.

A legal dispute over the ownership and occupation of land in Phoenix has reached the KwaZulu-Natal High Court in Durban, with the Caneside Sanathan Hindu Dharma Sabha seeking an eviction order against businessman Kader Latiff and his company, G7 Towlines.

However, Latiff and his company insist they are operating on neighbouring land and not on property owned by the religious organisation.

The matter also cites the eThekwini Municipality as the third respondent.

According to court papers, the Hindu organisation is seeking the eviction of Latiff and G7 Towlines from property situated at 58 Canehaven Drive, Caneside, Phoenix, which it says belongs to the organisation.
