Authorities have announced the mandatory evacuation of families with children from 23 additional settlements in the Synelnykove district of the Dnipropetrovsk region due to the deteriorating security situation.
Oleksandr Hanzha, Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, announced the decision on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
“We have begun the mandatory evacuation of families with children from 23 more settlements in the Synelnykove district. These settlements are located in the Shakhtarske, Dubovykivka, and Bohynivka communities,” Hanzha wrote.
According to the official, nearly 3,800 children are expected to leave the dangerous areas within the next month.
Hanzha noted that the evacuation of adults is also ongoing in seven communities across the district. He added that all families with children have already left the villages of Novokyivka, Illinka, and Vyshchetarasivka in the Nikopol district.
