The Finance Ministry on Tuesday announced that it has completed the unsealing of binding bids for the Property Acquisition and Leaseback Agency.
The committees confirmed that a single binding bid was submitted, by Christofferson, Robb & Co. Following verification that the submission was complete and complied with the requirements of the tender, the company was named the preferred bidder.
Once the preferred bidder submits the documentation showing it meets all requirements and it is deemed complete, it will be formally appointed as the successful bidder and invited to sign the concession agreement.
The agreement will subsequently be submitted to Parliament for ratification. Upon completion of these steps and the formal appointment of the successful bidder, the multi-stage process to select the strategic investor that will manage the Property Acquisition and Leaseback Agency will be concluded. The agency is expected to become operational in the fall.
