The UniSystems–OTE consortium has been named the preferred bidder for a Greek public-sector project involving the “Renewal and Upgrade of Private Cloud Database Services and Database Backup Infrastructure,” according to the approval of the evaluation report and award decision for the Ministry of Digital Governance’s international electronic open tender.A final evaluation is expected in the coming days. Based on the information published so far, the Tender and Evaluation Committee found that a single bid had been submitted on time by the UniSystems–OTE consortium and proceeded with the electronic opening of the “Participation Documents – Technical Offer” and “Financial Offer” sub-files.The committee evaluated all the award documents submitted by the consortium, formally named “Uni Systems – OTE,” and found that the documents, including those subsequently supplemented, were complete and compliant with all the terms of the tender.Following the evaluation, the committee unanimously recommended acceptance of the preferred bidder’s documents and award of the tender to the consortium, which was the sole bidder. It also accepted the consortium’s technical and financial offers.The total cost of the initial contract, excluding the option, amounts to 50.9 million euros including 24% VAT, within the overall budgeted amount of 51 million euros including VAT. The contract, excluding the option, is funded through the Public Investment Program.The contract also includes an option allowing the scope of the project to be expanded, with a corresponding increase in its financial value of up to 41.1 million euros excluding 24% VAT, or 51 million including VAT.The option may be exercised in stages at any time throughout the duration of the contract. As a result, the project’s total budget could reach 102 million euros including VAT and the option.The project covers a range of information technology services, including consulting, software development, internet and support services, value-added database services, system and support services, software-related services, backup computer services, IT hardware installation, direct-access storage devices, database and operating system software packages, and IT training services.
