Since the beginning of the year, Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense has codified and approved for military use 1,000 weapons and military equipment systems. Most of them are advanced technologies designed to meet the demands of modern high-intensity warfare.
The ministry announced the figures, according to Ukrinform.
For comparison, during the same period last year, the ministry codified and approved 659 weapons and equipment systems for operational use.
Among the systems approved this year are more than 300 new unmanned aerial systems, 188 types of ammunition, 128 communications systems, over 60 electronic warfare and electronic intelligence systems, 50 new ground robotic platforms, and nearly 50 armored vehicles and specialized armored transport systems.
“All of these systems have demonstrated their capabilities under rigorous testing conditions. Most of the codified items are already being used by Ukraine’s Defense Forces,” the ministry said.
