Fighters from the Apachi Unmanned Systems Battalion, together with other units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, thwarted a Russian mechanized assault in the Sloviansk sector—one of the largest in this section of the front.

The battalion reported this on Telegram, releasing a video of the incident, according to Ukrinform.

As noted, two enemy groups advanced simultaneously along different routes: one from the Platonivka area toward Zakitne, and the other from Siversk toward Kryva Luka.

About fifty infantrymen took part in the assault. The invaders also deployed 28 motorcycles, one tank, three infantry fighting vehicles, and five vehicles.

“The number of vehicles could not compensate for the most important factor—the Ukrainian drone operators’ complete control over the battlefield,” the Apachi battalion noted.
