Three youths from West Bengal were arrested with around 34 kg of suspected ganja during a special drive conducted under Operation Toofan in Aluva on Tuesday.Rafiqul Sheikh, 30, Juyel Sheikh, 22, and Sahin Sheikh, 29, all natives of Murshidabad district, were arrested by a joint team of the District Anti-Narcotics Special Action Force, Ernakulam Rural, and the Aluva police.According to the police, the trio had purchased the suspected ganja from Odisha and travelled by train to Angamaly. From there, they hired an autorickshaw and were intercepted at Thottakkattukara in Aluva.The contraband was packed in 16 packets and concealed in backpacks.
