The Israeli leader dismissed criticism questioning the outcome of recent military operations, arguing that Israel had achieved major strategic objectives.

Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has defended Israel's recent military operations against Iran and its regional allies, declaring that the country had prevented what he described as an imminent nuclear threat and significantly weakened Tehran's military capabilities.

Speaking during a press conference on Monday night, Netanyahu said preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons had been his "life's mission" and vowed that Israel would continue taking action to ensure that Tehran never acquires such capabilities.

"Dear citizens of Israel, for decades, I have been fighting against Iran’s efforts to arm itself with nuclear weapons. I can define it as my life’s mission," Netanyahu said.

He added, "With an agreement, without an agreement – Iran will not have nuclear weapons. Not today, and not tomorrow. As long as I am Prime Minister of Israel – this will not happen."
