What happened on the B site
The play unfolded during one of IEM’s recent matchdays, with G2 Esports facing competition from a stacked field that has included teams like Legacy, Aurora, FUT, and Falcons throughout the tournament cycle. HeavyGod was anchoring the B site when the opposing team committed to an execute, and he systematically dismantled it with three kills before his teammates even needed to rotate.
Triple kills on defence are significant in competitive CS2 because they almost always guarantee the round. Taking out three of five attackers mid-execute leaves the remaining two players with an impossible numbers disadvantage.
